CSA Specialised Tanker Refurbishment

We recently had the privilege of refurbishing a trailer for CSA Specialized Services, transforming it into a reliable and fully operational asset. The project involved meticulous attention to detail to meet operational standards and customer specifications.

The process began with a thorough inspection, including crack testing and weld repairs to address fatigue and damage. We replaced damaged baffles and worn pipes, ensuring compatibility with the vacuum motor and cyclone unit. To reinforce the tank walls, we fabricated flange plates and added customer-supplied features like viewing windows and a test port valve.

The trailer underwent comprehensive surface preparation, including sandblasting and a protective coating of epoxy and polyurethane for durability. We also installed an underbelly vacuum pump, crafting custom mounts and cradles to secure it perfectly.

Additional upgrades included manufacturing a new skid plate to compliance standards, fabricating aluminum hose trays, and refurbishing the suspension system. This required removing worn components, installing new hangers, and repainting the repaired areas before reassembly.
